Agreement

These terms govern your use of What to Eat, an app built and operated by Innolab (“we”, “us”). By using What to Eat, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please don’t use the app.

The app

What to Eat is a personal tool for saving restaurants, deciding where to eat, and sharing a spot with a friend. It works without an account: your data is stored on your device and your own iCloud, as described in the privacy policy.

Imported links and places

What to Eat lets you add a restaurant from a link you paste (for example from OpenRice, Google Maps, or Instagram). Those services are operated by others, and their content and terms are their own. We don’t control, and aren’t responsible for, information that comes from a third-party link, and adding a place doesn’t imply any affiliation with it.

Advertising

The app may show non-personalized ads served by Google AdMob. We don’t endorse advertised products, and any dealings with an advertiser are between you and them.

Your content

The restaurants, photos, tags, and notes you add are yours. We claim no ownership of them and, because they live on your device and your private iCloud, we cannot access them. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything you want to retain — deleting the app deletes the on-device data.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse What to Eat: no attempting to break, overload, or reverse engineer it, no using it for anything unlawful, and no interfering with other people’s use of it.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, What to Eat is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. It is a convenience tool, not a restaurant guide or a guarantee — details you save or import may be out of date or inaccurate, and we don’t warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use.

Apple App Store

Your license to use What to Eat is a non-transferable license to use it on an Apple device you own or control, as permitted by the App Store’s terms. This agreement is between you and Innolab, not Apple; Apple has no obligation to support the app, and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR. If you are a consumer, you keep the benefit of any mandatory protections of the law where you live.

Changes

If these terms change materially, we will update the effective date above.
